This exhibition features two Vancouver photographers:
Laara Cerman, with images of abandoned spaces in Greater Vancouver as well as the
desert town Salton City, California, and Kevin Lanthier, with fantastical photographs
of communities in Vancouver.
Both artists explore our emotional responses to architectural structures, inspired
by the stories of the movement of people in the buildings around us. The images
share aesthetic similarities with a flat facing view and the artists both utilize a
process heavy in digital post production, combining multiple images to create a
single piece.
